Super photo's again Charles. Especially the heron........only kidding!

Only ever seen one bullfinch. Last summer in my pear tree, at a guess he/she was chomping the flowers.

Love my goldfinches; they rip into nyger seed. But only get them visiting in summer hence feeder is washed and stowed till April

Thanks again. Have at least three breeding pairs of bullfinches around me and they do go for the blossom buds on my flowering cherries, but don't seem to do too much damage. Goldfinch numbers are down here on previous years and the bloody heron was back again today. :(
