Looking to add to the Munro total in a fortnight. I was thinking about the two either side and next to the dam in Glen Lyon. That wy I might be able get at least one in if the conditions are not great. Does anyone know if the road up to the dam is usually kept clear? I'm also thinking about doing something nice the following day. Any suggestions? And of course if anyone is out and about, feel free to hook up.

The road is not kept clear, the hill road over from Loch Tay is not treated either. In ice or snow it would be too dodgey. Maybe the freezing level will be higher though?

Thanks C. I suspected this might be the case. I a now looking at Carn a Chlamain/Beinn Dearg staying at the bothy near BD. I note this could involve a river crossing that i'm not sure about particularly in winter. Any advice?
