Cut across the heather after the track to reach the top, hard work going through the deep snowy heather but quick on the way down over the springy heather. Saw a flock of (black?) grouse and ravens. Near the top, there was a motion sensor camera left beside a deer carcass (maybe for a wildlife programme?) Brilliant views from the top with the afternoon sunshine and great views down the glen to the river Dee.
