Great forum, walks guides, long distance trip reports & interactive walk map......nicely bundled into
one website.
The Cape Wrath & Skye trails have been gnawing away in the back of my mind for quite some
time now.....along with others....hopefully over the next few years I'll find the time to complete these walks.

Sounds painful - I'd get that checked out if I were you!

Thanks for the cheeky reply Boris......
You know how your personal 'to do' walking list always seems
to gets longer & longer.... it's a similar feeling to that !

Better add a bit of my walking history...I'll keep it short.
I mainly mooch Off Track, along rocky ridgelines & rock hopping along steepsided river valleys, chasing views, sunsets/sunrises & beautifully spotted trout.

South East Queensland, Northern New South Wales & Tasmania are my main stomping grounds,

Love to do a couple of longer walks in Scotland, the High Seirra Route in the good ol' usa,
Mt Kinabalu which i bypassed on the way to orangutan sanctuary, plus a 10 -14 walk
in Aboriginal land in the Northern Territory etc etc...... before the grim reaper put his
bony hand on my shoulder, and says your time is up !

Cheers
Onsen.

Which he is quite likely to do, if ye go walkabout in Arnhem Land ! I waltzed me matilda all over Oz, including a bit in the Northern Territory, Corner Country, Lake Frome, Mount McKinley Bluff and the Daintree. Too many venomous things trying to sting/bite/envenomate me! And the crocs would give ye nightmares! No thanks, you Ozzies can keep 'em, I'll stick to Bonnie Scotland (though at the moment I'm somewhere off Congo).

Chuckles  ...... but like anything in life, Caberfeidh, you get used to them !

Just started a photo narrative a month ago, so if you feel like checking out some snakes I've come
across on my off track walks...there's a few beauty's in there. I go by the name Ofuros on other forums.

Enjoy, just watch where you step if you come down under !

And...keep up the good work on this forum.
