Would make a great circular walk. We had to cut it short to go to a party thingy that night :D

Dougie took me on a circular walk there on a minging day.. Was allright, but the fact that he took me to a cairn that wasn't the summit took all the glory out of it when I got home and loaded up the GPS track :lol:

I guess you mean the cairn overlooking Loch Skeen, surely this gives you an excuse to return to the area. Maybe bagging Lochcraig Head and Molls Cleuch Dodd from the north?
I often do the circuit around the loch and each time I pass over Lochcraig Head (sticking to the wall and not going out and back) I feel as though it's enough to count as a tick. The difference in height from the wall junction near the cairn to the true summit a few hundred feet to the north is minimal. In my mind my head must be above it.
