I`ve been going on regular sunday morning walks around Pollok Park lately, spotted these on a couple of occasions

Lovely shots tomyboy, the kingfisher is beautiful....as for that 'fish killing diving duck' ........ I'd much rather he stuck to the oceans ....but I suppose if we hadn't emptied them he might well have done so :(

That`s great , they`re some sight in flight, lucky to catch one posing. Maybe see you down there one day, i`ll be the guy stalking about the bushes :lol:

Fair play on the kingfisher photo! I see lots, as I'm a regular open canoeist, but am still to get near enough to get anything like as good a shot as that.

Cheers, i was just about to put my camera away when i saw it sitting on the bank of the river. It then flew away under the bridge and rested on the grass/reeds on the other side. I even got it with a fish in it`s mouth but never saw it pulling it out of the water !

Where in the park was this taken ? I have seen a few in barrhead dams and lynn park but none in Pollok park

Hi, saw this one at the bridge opposite pollok house
best to follow river on south side by waterfall and horse field
