perfect walk idea for a not-so-perfect day, the walkway is sheltered by trees therefore not too bad in rain and definitely nice on a windy day.

I left the car near cramond brig pub (there are some spaces along the road) and walked down towards the brig. crossed it and followed signposts to cammo estate. the path winds along the river and reaches the old stone bridge over lovely cascades. cross to the other side of the river and follow it back to the car park

walk time 1-2 hr

this walk can be extended by another 1.5 mile north, towards cramond village and seaside
