Time for a repeat of the same question I posed around about the same time last year.....
Just wondering what folks have as their aims, ambitions, targets for the walking year?
Any hills you want to conquer? Any target numbers you want to hit? Any experiences you want to get under your belt? Any ‘new’ parts of Scotland you want to visit? Any kit you want to treat yourself to?
For me; it’s a very simple one: hit my annual target of c.30 Munros by year end. (No biggie for a lot of people on WH, I know,
but a decent target for me). Within this, I’m looking to do the following milestone hills / rounds:
the round of four at Lairig Ghru (Cairn Toul, etc.)
Ben Nevis via the CMD
Ben More Assynt and Conival
Ben Klibreck
Meall na Tanga and its unpronounceable neighbour at Loch Lochy.
I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get those ticked off.
So c’mon folks, lets hear it. What are you looking to achieve (hills and outdoor wise) this year….?
