Went with EJ. Some mist to start but it cleared with stunning views to Ben Alder in the autumn colours and looking back along the ridge. Saw/ heard red deer, grouse, ptarmigan, ravens and possibly a ring ouzel. Great views of Lancet edge and the waterfalls slicing down through the corrie at Loch an Sgoir. Beautiful lighting with the sun breaking through the clouds. Good to take in the tops and revisit a brilliant area.
