Weather: Hot and Sunny

Another day out with my parents on their summer holiday. I had stayed the night with them in Cannich, and we were intending to stay fairly local after yesterday's drive out to Loch Maree. But when we had got back to Cannich the previous evening, mum discovered she had left her spare clothes in the Beinn Eighe visitor centre toilets. Since we were back out that way, I suggested we do another walk there.

We had considered the coast around Diabaig, but Loch Clair was closer, and as we had set off late, we had a much better chance of being back in time for our meal out in Drumnadrochit with Gill. Not a great deal to say other than it was a lovely stroll and really hot in a couple of places.

We had a break by Loch Coulin and considered our options. It was getting a bit late to be carrying on up to the bothy at Easan Dorcha, so we stuck to the short loop instead. There seemed to be another hydro scheme going in at the far end of Loch Coulin.

This wasn't the first time I've walked round here, but it was almost certainly one of the sunniest! Nice to enjoy it in the good weather rather than use it as an alternative low walk for a poor day.

Best type of walk on a hot day - bonny scenery, good company and plenty of paddling opportunities :)
