This is a pleasant, short walk over flat ground exploring the area south of the A90 between Dundee and Perth. NB the car park identified as the start point no longer exists because of the primary school upgrade but parking is available in the very small square in the centre of Errol. We had hoped to get views of the River Tay as much of the walk follows its bank but the bank is heavily wooded so you only get glimpses of the river in the distance through the trees. It may be a walk that's better in the winter when there are no leaves on the trees. There were a couple of points where you could walk down onto a jetty / ground which afforded better views. The other remarkable thing about this walk was the huge oak tree at Tay Lodge which is very impressive.
