Ok where to Start... had persuaded the OH to get into walking/munro bagging as I have done 21 mainly winter walking...and love it , haven't done anything since 2015 so decided to start him on something gentle before the big weekend (25/2/17) where there is a few of us heading to Ballachulish.
Started off at 9.30am at mill Street really positive and lovely wee Street up passed the old Mill and the start of the burn..
Then the hard work started endless steps getting steeper and steeper (struggling)
Up onto the Law after a slight scramble.. beautiful then boom the Crag set in...
Was really struggling but as am stubborn didn't let on to the fella as he was on fire ..
Once we reached the Cleuch summit weather was crazy a mixture of wind, sleet, rain and totally clagged ( the dog was howling at the wind and a bit scared it was funny)
After a well earned coffee and jam piece off we set to do Ben Evers that was a better wee walk and weather settled .. Followed the description of descent opting to go the harder part with the steeper descent... brilliant as snow laying was able to show the OH how to bum slide down a hill..finished the rest of the walk in 4hrs 20mins
Was absolutely gutted at my lack of fitness but then again that was a tough wee route... thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back to see the view :D :D .. ps the dog absolutely loved it even tho he's scared of the wind and the OH can't wait to get his first munro next week

Haven't mastered how to attach pics yet....
