New boots, new jacket...forgot camera.

Bit windy at start of climb but dry. Hurricane at summit - stayed for 2 minutes and had to almost crawl. Very steep, quads sore for 3 days after. Only met 1 other walker. Torrential horizontal rain on reaching tarmac.

Boots comfortable and dry, jacket likewise.

Boots came free with subscription for 24 issues of TGO....didn't expect too much, but after 2 Munros I am delighted with them - Hi-tech V-Lite. Jacket is Berghaus 3 in 1 - £108 which doesn't seem too bad when I take the free boots into the equation. My personal austerity measure.
