Met Ronnie, Alan, Brian and Ian Fleming at Elderslie 8:25. Reached Glencoe at 11:15.
Mist pretty low...intermittent rain. Started at 12:00 in the rain taking it fairly easy. Dry spells began to take more prominence. Mist began to rise. However, it didn't rise above us at all on the ridge.
Being the most difficult ridge on the mainland, I was rather apprehensive but had no qualms even at the hardest bit. I don't know how I would have felt if it had been clear?
Most of the ridge is very narrow but the hardest part has three rock pinnacles, which one must get over.
Strongish South wind didn't make things any easier. At one point we could see down to Glencoe but never could we see anything at our own level.
All set for the Cuillins!
