i was out today attempting the Cairnwell munros, only managed the Cairnwell and Carn Aosta, the wind was horrific at the tops and being waist deep in snow was tiring, also, felt as if any area of exposed skin was being sandblasted by the blowing ice. good day tho. going up the Buck tomorrow, nothing too dramatic, will have somebody even more inexperienced than me under my wing.

hi all,

sorry but I wont manage tomorrow, Ben Vorlich was good today, cracking clear skies, just a bit exposed and windy at the top, but the snow definitely takes it out of your legs! Besides, I think the better half has plans for me (doh!) I want to get two or three outings in next week though so if anybodies out and about then I'd be more than happy to join them!

Cheers anyway,

Matt
