Golden Eagle - Strontian

Golden Eagle - Strontian

Think I managed to snap a Goldie for the first time on Sgurr Dhomhnuill. Not the greatest photos - but the only ones I've ever managed! Or it could be a sea-eagle - help

Yep, it's definitely a Golden Eagle.

I think the shots that you have there are quite excellent Paul. I can never get my camera ready in time.

On Sunday I stumbled upon two Goldies enjoying dinner (Ptarmigan I suspect from the leftovers) at Drumochter.
By the time I'd got the camera up, switched on and set, both were long gone. Got a nice gory shot of torn apart gamebird, but I don't really think the WH forum users will find it very appealing!
