Buchan Ness lighthouse, built by Robert Stevenson, on the most north- easterly point in Scotland, is situated on an island, connected to the village of Boddam by a short bridge. Our 4 star self catering accommodation is in the two original lighthousekeepers cottages. Both have been recently restored with many of the original features preserved. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, and sleeps 4.

We are part of Nortrail and the Coastal Trail, and within easy reach of miles of unspoiled beaches, coastal walks, and cliff scenery, with birdwatching and nature reserves nearby. We can also provide a welcome starting/ finishing point for anyone planning a west-east (Atlantic-North Sea) coast to coast walk.
