Honeysuckle Cottage     Fordyce, near Sandend

Honeysuckle Cottage is a 100 year old, charming, stone-built, semi-detached cottage in the pretty conservation village of Fordyce on ly 1 mile from the beach at Sandend. The tastefully upgraded cottage has a cosy, relaxing sitting room with woodburner, 2 spacious bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and garden with views over the village, the perfect place to unwind with a drink.

Beach Cottage     Sandend

Beach Cottage is a large 2 bedroom property with picture windows overlooking one of the loveliest beaches in the country. The large living room has an open fire and large window overlooking the sea, the kitchen diner leads out to an external seating area and elevated deck.

The Coastal Trail and cycle routes pass close to the cottage and the old harbour is nearby. Sandend is an idyllic location for a peaceful holiday in one of the most attractive areas of Scotland within an hours drive of Inverness and Aberdeen.

Buchan Ness Lighthouse Cottages     Boddam nr Peterhead

Buchan Ness lighthouse, built by Robert Stevenson, on the most north- easterly point in Scotland, is situated on an island, connected to the village of Boddam by a short bridge. Our 4 star self catering accommodation is in the two original lighthousekeepers cottages. Both have been recently restored with many of the original features preserved. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, and sleeps 4.

We are part of Nortrail and the Coastal Trail, and within easy reach of miles of unspoiled beaches, coastal walks, and cliff scenery, with birdwatching and nature reserves nearby. We can also provide a welcome starting/ finishing point for anyone planning a west-east (Atlantic-North Sea) coast to coast walk.

Gilliebank     Portsoy

Situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Portsoy, with a 17th century harbour on the beautiful Moray Firth, midway between Aberdeen and Inverness. Gilliebank is on the square about 200 yards from the main A98 road. The location is an ideal base for golf, country and coastal walks and the famous castle and whisky trails.

Gilliebank is a modernized stone house with a very comfortable lounge, sun lounge, well equipped kitchen/dining area, three bedrooms, shower room, bathroom, and laundry room. Central heating and high speed internet. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants.

This unusual holiday property has been imaginatively converted from the local bank to extremely good effect. It features a wonderful spiral staircase which ascends from the bright, airy living room to the master bedroom. Set in the heart of the quiet traditional fishing village of Whitehills, visitors can easily walk down to the quaint harbour and marina, where locally caught fish can be bought.

Portsoy is one of the most unspoiled villages on the Moray Firth Coast, benefiting from a pleasant climate, the tail end of the gulf stream making it mild rather than cold, with less than half the rain of the west coast. Set just a few yards from the seafront this cosy, detached, holiday cottage is an ideal retreat for visitors to this charming village, set at the foot of the cliffs. Gardenstown has a long history of sea fishing with a lovely harbour, hotel and interesting shops. Soak up the atmosphere whilst on the lookout for dolphins which often pass by in these waters. Outside the village there is much to do including visiting the award winning Macduff Aquarium, or explore the Castle Trail. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

This delightful holiday cottage has been carefully converted from a 19th century croft steading, within the owners croft, and has 10 acres of partial woodland and grass where the owners keep horses and hens. BHS approved stabling and paddocks are available for those with horses by arrangement.
