Ardross is a spacious 4 bedroom villa built in 1924 and refurbished in 2005. The house is a five minute level walk from the centre of Oban, and even closer to the island ferries and the railway station. Parking is available in front of the house. Gallanach Road is one of the loveliest and most tranquil roads in Oban. It stretches for about two miles overlooking the Sound of Kerrera and the islands of Kerrera and Mull. Ardross is at the 'town' end of Gallanach Road, and enjoys views across Oban Bay to Lismore and the Morvern Hills from the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs view of South Pier with the coastguard building, lifeboat and ferries is certainly less scenic but can still provide interest! |
