A shorter walk this weekend as the dog was tired, had to drag him out of the house. Then bribe him to get into the car . Still once we got there he had the normal excited shakes, as soon as the boot was open he was off . A warm and cold day if that makes any sense, wind proof was on and off all day, still not that warm, although the water logged areas are clearing . A gentle walk cos of the dog being tired, see I am dog friendly . Not many out, but did come across a guy sitting on the heather just outside of the underpass I had to go through, seemed a bit odd cos he was not dressed for walking. He had no back pack or walking gear, no jacket or wind proof just a t shirt, he looked OK, but I felt he was not your normal Joe you see out for a day in the park?. Seemed a bit weird?. He was gone by the time I returned. Some other walkers about but no tourists. Came across a group of youngsters on a Duke of Ed walk, all looked a bit peed off . Near the end I thought I would take a short cut and take a road that I thought went under the A35, got there and found it was not an underpass but only aloud traffic to join the A35 . So had to add a couple of miles to the walk and back track to the underpass I used earlier. Dog was not happy .
