Balvenie Cottage Braemar
Balvenie is a delightful old cottage, one of the oldest in Braemar. Part of the building is 'listed' and retains many old features. The cottage has been comfortably furnished and has a modern bath and shower room. Outside there is a large secluded garden with a summerhouse containing barbecue facilities.
Braemar is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast with many walks within the village or just a short drive away. It is home to the famous "Braemar Gathering" held on the first Saturday of September and attended by the Queen. Balmoral Castle is close by and open to the public when the Queen is not in residence.

The Old Rectory Cottage is a spacious and comfortably furnished traditional holiday cottage which is very attractive and well equipped, and provides one of the nicest Scottish holiday cottages for rent in the picturesque highland location of Grantown-on-Spey. The cottage benefits from having wheelchair access ramps to both the front and rear entrance doors leading from the private off road parking area's. Internally the flooring is all on one level, with no steps or ramps for guests to have to negotiate and making the whole house easily accessed by wheel chair. The front double bedroom has a ride in en-suite wet room which incorporates a shower area, low level wash hand basin, and w.c. Reindeer Cottage near Aviemore
Traditionally built stone cottage in a remote setting just 3 miles north of Aviemore. Sitting room with open fire (and guest bed), bathroom with shower and bath, and kitchen. 2 bedrooms, double and twin (plus a guest bed). The house is mainly wood lined throughout, extremely cosy and well situated with all the facilities of Aviemore and Speyside close by, including The Cairngorm Reindeer Centre which is just 10 miles away. There is a Summer house and BBQ in the enclosed and secluded garden. Also there is an outdoor hot tub, sauna and plunge pool. Fantastic views of the Cairngorm mountains where the reindeer roam. Very close by is a small loch, which can be fished on purchase of a permit. The loch is renowned for good bird-watching. The cottage is owned and run by the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, so a free visit to the reindeer herd is included.
