Both you and your pets are welcome. If walking, cars can be parked free at Mondhuie while walking the Speyside Way. Red squirrels are seen daily from the house.
We have 2 chalets sleeping 3 and 6. Sharing a large lawn with the main house and with ample parking facilities, the chalets are fully-equipped for self-catering.

Balvenie Cottage Braemar
Balvenie is a delightful old cottage, one of the oldest in Braemar. Part of the building is 'listed' and retains many old features. The cottage has been comfortably furnished and has a modern bath and shower room. Outside there is a large secluded garden with a summerhouse containing barbecue facilities.
Braemar is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast with many walks within the village or just a short drive away. It is home to the famous "Braemar Gathering" held on the first Saturday of September and attended by the Queen. Balmoral Castle is close by and open to the public when the Queen is not in residence.

Both Lodges are 3 bedroom, double glazed, and well insulated ensuring maximum comfort with quality furnishings, fully equipped modern kitchens and colour TVs with selected ‘Sky' channels and DVD player. The heating throughout is electric.
There is accommodation for up to 6 guests in each lodge with three bedrooms per lodge and additional en suite facilities in the master bedrooms. Beaver Creek Lodge Aviemore
An enchantingly heart stopping romantic Lodge which is ideal for Honeymoons. This Swiss style chalet, at the northern fringe of Aviemore is set in a wooded glen and is accessed across a covered footbridge over a small mountain stream from the lodges private parking area.

Benula Kingussie
Situated high on the edge of the village with fields and woods behind so you can walk straight into the hills without using a car. There are walks of all grades of difficulty around Kingussie plus a local crag, and a Corbett and Munro are within reach. Kingussie golf club is one of the most spectacular in the country and the area provides for all sorts of outdoor activities. Benula has ample off-street parking and a lockable outbuilding that can be used for mountain bikes or skis. There is a large garden with views over Strathspey

High Range Chalets Aviemore
Built with alpine flair and set among the birch trees and heather-clad grounds of High Range, each characterful chalet is completely self-contained. The comfortable and spacious accommodation is furnished to a high standard, including microwave, TV, DVD, hairdryer, iron and board, etc. All bed linen, towels and kitchen cloths are supplied FREE OF CHARGE. Electricity is charged on a £1 coin or card meter (cards available from Reception). There is ample parking space near the chalets. For our guests' convenience, we have a Ristorante-Pizzeria & Bar, and fully-equipped launderette on site. Groceries and other provisions can be purchased from the village shopping centre, only five minutes' walk from the High Range complex. The bus service, railway station, bank and post office are also close by.

Internally the flooring is all on one level, with no steps or ramps for guests to have to negotiate and making the whole house easily accessed by wheel chair. The front double bedroom has a ride in en-suite wet room which incorporates a shower area, low level wash hand basin, and w.c. Easily recognisable from its starring role in the BBC drama, 'Monarch of the Glen', visitors can experience the delights of the stunning landscape with lochs, woods and mountains. This recently refurbished property is situated on a working farm above Gallovie Farmhouse and close to the Pattack Falls. It's ideally situated for walking on the estate. Folds cottage was an 18th century small farmhouse rebuilt to modern insulation standards and extended in the mid 1990's making the cottage exceptionally comfortable. Situated on a hillside, it faces south to enjoy all day sunshine and the stunning views to the mountains in the Cairngorms National Park. Folds is surrounded by a fenced garden. Fantastic area for walking from the cottage to Ben Rinnes or on the excellent way marked trails on the Glenlivet Estate.

A charming country cottage sleeping 2 - 3 and sitting proudly on its own site, set back from the road on a gentle elevation. With woodlands to the back and stunning south facing views of the Cairngorms, this is the very essence of Highland tranquility. It lies within the Cairngorm National Park and is a mere half-a-mile from the centre of the village of Carrbridge. An ideal location for anyone feeling the least bit stressed or just needing something different. The half-acre garden offers an abundance of wild life from woodpecker to red squirrel, buzzard to bullfinch, robin to roe deer (the latter hopefully outside the garden amongst the Juniper bushes from which the cottage takes its name). The village (nine hole) golf course is next door and within the village itself is a range of hotels, restaurants and the famous Landmark Heritage Park.

Craignay Dulnain Bridge, near Grantown

Craignay is an attractive traditionally stone-built and typically Speyside detached house retaining many traditional features such as the exposed wood paneling and doors. It has been recently refurnished. Craignay lies in its own garden among the pine woods close to the old A95 road entering the village of Dulnain Bridge from Aviemore.
Craignay is within easy walking distance (300 metres) of the centre of the village and is surrounded by Scots Pine and Birch woodland. The garden enjoys a very sheltered area among the trees where it attracts warm sunshine. This is an ideal location to explore the Cairngorms National Park.

These two one bedroom self-catering holiday homes are situated in the heart of Monarch of the Glen countryside with panoramic views over the Spey valley and Monadhliath Mountains.
They have recently been modernised and refurbished and insulated to a high standard.
