Ballieward Steading is a traditional detached stone-built cottage converted from an old croft steading. It is adjacent to the owner's house surrounded by beautiful gardens in a quiet country location.
Set in the Cairngorms National Park, the Steading is only 1 ½ miles from the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey. It is surrounded by fields and woodlands full of nesting birds in springtime. The sitting room windows command a panoramic view of the Cromdale Hills.

The Old Rectory Grantown on Spey
The Old Rectory Cottage is a spacious and comfortably furnished traditional holiday cottage which is very attractive and well equipped, and provides one of the nicest Scottish holiday cottages for rent in the picturesque highland location of Grantown-on-Spey. The cottage benefits from having wheelchair access ramps to both the front and rear entrance doors leading from the private off road parking area's. Internally the flooring is all on one level, with no steps or ramps for guests to have to negotiate and making the whole house easily accessed by wheel chair. The front double bedroom has a ride in en-suite wet room which incorporates a shower area, low level wash hand basin, and w.c. The cottage is ideally situated on a large seclude site in the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, and is within an easy 5 minute stroll of the High Street, and it's shopping centre and tourist amenities.

Set in a superb country location, this self contained 2-bedroom apartment is offered for holidays throughout the year. Situated approximately 5 miles from Aboyne in Deeside, Scotland, it sits above the owner's property in open country.
The apartment is accessed by an external staircase and a special feature of the property is the private decking area with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and Dee Valley. The decking is furnished with garden table and chairs and is private and not overlooked. Nearest shop, post office and village is one mile away. Take a walk or a jog along the single track road which meanders though a tiny hamlet and passes Macbeth's Well. Stories say that Macbeth made his last stand here in 1057.

These two one bedroom self-catering holiday homes are situated in the heart of Monarch of the Glen countryside with panoramic views over the Spey valley and Monadhliath Mountains.
They have recently been modernised and refurbished and insulated to a high standard. Each is equipped with microwave oven, hob, fridge freezer, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, Sky T.V., video or DVD player, radio and CD player. Both are centrally heated. Electricity is by coin meter, and Heather Cottage boasts an open fire in the living area. Both Lodges are 3 bedroom, double glazed, and well insulated ensuring maximum comfort with quality furnishings, fully equipped modern kitchens and colour TVs with selected ‘Sky' channels and DVD player. The heating throughout is electric.
There is accommodation for up to 6 guests in each lodge with three bedrooms per lodge and additional en suite facilities in the master bedrooms. Folds Cottage Glenlivet
Folds cottage was an 18th century small farmhouse rebuilt to modern insulation standards and extended in the mid 1990's making the cottage exceptionally comfortable. Situated on a hillside, it faces south to enjoy all day sunshine and the stunning views to the mountains in the Cairngorms National Park. Folds is surrounded by a fenced garden. Fantastic area for walking from the cottage to Ben Rinnes or on the excellent way marked trails on the Glenlivet Estate.
Folds cottage sleeps 2 - 8 (discount for 2 people) and has a fully fitted kitchen and utility room along with a large lounge/dining room and 3 comfortable bedrooms with 1 ensuite. Visitors are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs.

The Treehouse Boat of Garten
The Treehouse is different and special - and has to be appreciated for its individuality. This unique self-catering lodge is situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and set in almost an acre of mature pine and birch wood, with commanding views of the Cairngorms and Boat of Garten Golf Course. Coire Cas is situated on a corner site with a well laid out garden planted mainly with free-flowering heather. The private patio is to the rear and has its own patio furniture and views to the mountain.
The bathroom has bath, shower and vanity units and there is a separate WC with wash hand basin and vanity unit. The kitchen has the usual fitted cupboards with work surfaces and cooker, fridge, microwave, washer/drier etc. There is a double bedroom and a room containing full size bunks and a single bed. Pets welcome. It also has an open fire and is 10 mins walk from Aviemore. Leisure facilities and golf available.

Boghead Cottage Lumphanan
This detached cottage has been converted from an old steading (built with the original stone) and enjoys magnificent views of Deeside and Mount Keen. Views of Lochnager can also be admired after a short uphill walk. It is situated on a 36-acre farm with ponds, small burns and woodland - an area where many different species of birds can be found, along with many pathways for walking, relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity. Numerous outdoor activities are readily available, and Aberdeen is nearby with its many amenities. An ideal location for the Whisky, Castle and Victorian Heritage Trails. Balmoral, Castle Fraser, Drum and Braemar Castles within easy reach. Golf, fishing, walking, riding, gliding, cycling, skiiing all available.

Chapelton Steading Boat of Garten
Chapelton Steading can be found just outside the delightful village of Boat of Garten in the Cairngorm National Park, approximately 5 miles(8km) from Aviemore. Our Highland home is a tastefully converted farm steading of which one wing - a granite stone barn - has been architecturally designed to create two individual country house apartments, each offering self-catering accommodation in a quiet rural retreat. There are 2 apartments, one sleeping 2 and the other up to 4. Both apartments are fully fitted including dishwasher, microwave, bath and shower and have secluded outdoor seating and dining with open views to the cairngorms.

The half-acre garden offers an abundance of wild life from woodpecker to red squirrel, buzzard to bullfinch, robin to roe deer (the latter hopefully outside the garden amongst the Juniper bushes from which the cottage takes its name). The village (nine hole) golf course is next door and within the village itself is a range of hotels, restaurants and the famous Landmark Heritage Park.

Craignay is an attractive traditionally stone-built and typically Speyside detached house retaining many traditional features such as the exposed wood paneling and doors. It has been recently refurnished. Craignay lies in its own garden among the pine woods close to the old A95 road entering the village of Dulnain Bridge from Aviemore.
Craignay is within easy walking distance (300 metres) of the centre of the village and is surrounded by Scots Pine and Birch woodland. The garden enjoys a very sheltered area among the trees where it attracts warm sunshine. This is an ideal location to explore the Cairngorms National Park.
