Internally the flooring is all on one level, with no steps or ramps for guests to have to negotiate and making the whole house easily accessed by wheel chair. The front double bedroom has a ride in en-suite wet room which incorporates a shower area, low level wash hand basin, and w.c. The cottage is ideally situated on a large seclude site in the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, and is within an easy 5 minute stroll of the High Street, and it's shopping centre and tourist amenities.

Take a walk or a jog along the single track road which meanders though a tiny hamlet and passes Macbeth's Well. Stories say that Macbeth made his last stand here in 1057.

Craignay is within easy walking distance (300 metres) of the centre of the village and is surrounded by Scots Pine and Birch woodland. The garden enjoys a very sheltered area among the trees where it attracts warm sunshine. This is an ideal location to explore the Cairngorms National Park.
