Station Cottage was once the station masters cottage, built in 1850, its recent renovation has retained much of its original character - the original timber lined walls and granite fireplace have all stood the test of time. Chapelton Steading is just outside the village of Boat of Garten in the Cairngorm National Park, approximately 5 miles(8km) from Aviemore. Our Highland home is a tastefully converted farm steading of which one wing - a granite stone barn - has been architecturally designed to create two individual apartments, each offering a quiet rural retreat. One apartment sleeps 2, the other up to 4. Both apartments are fully fitted including dishwasher, microwave, shower/bath, secluded outdoor seating and dining with open views to the Cairngorms.
