Weather in the Cairngorms area

The Cairngorms are the sunniest and driest side of the Highlands - and the coldest in winter. The weather varies hugely with altitude, and a pleasant day at Loch Morlich could be a blizzard and raging white-out on the mountain plateau; walks in this area demand respect.
