Traditionally built on one level, the Croft House is situated in the small crofting township of Garvan on the southern shore of Loch Eil. The West Highland Railway Line runs along the opposite shore of Loch Eil next to the Road to the Isles and from May to October a steam train travels from Fort William to Mallaig and back. The view from the cottage is on to Loch Eil and the surrounding hills and mountains.

This is an ideal location from which to explore Lochaber and Ardnamurchan.
