The hotel dates back to the Jacobite era, and was originally built as a Coaching Inn around 1720. It is situated in the village looking across Arisaig Bay towards the Isles of Eigg and Muck. Set on the scenic Road to the Isles, Arisaig is 35 miles from Fort William, and 8 miles from Mallaig (the ferry terminal for Skye). The hotel offers 13 ensuite bedrooms (2 single, 6 double, 3 twin, 2 family), all tastefully furnished and decorated. All rooms are centrally heated and have a direct dial telephone, remote control colour television, coffee and tea making facilities. Most bedrooms have sea views.
