Moyle Park Campsite near Glenelg
Moyle Park Campsite is situated on a working croft in a remote glen in beautiful Wester Ross. Excellent opportunities exist for hillwalkers; the Five Sisters of Kintail, Falls of Glomach, South Cluanie Ridge, Forcan Ridge, the Saddle and Ben Sgritheal to name but a few of the more popular walks in the area. The site has five hard standings and space for tents. Fresh water is available and there is a chemical disposal point. Toilet and shower facilities are currently in the course of construction.Map Ref: NG 8794 1975 Glenelg village (3 miles away) has the Glenelg Inn, a post office, general store and two churches (Church of Scotland and Free Presbyterian). Kyle of Lochalsh (24 miles away) has several larger shops.
Shiel Bridge campsite
Basic campsite with showers etc. situated at Shiel Bridge. The site is run by the owners of the shop/garage at the side of the A87 as you enter Shiel Bridge.
Morvich Caravan Club site
Morvich site, run by the Caravan Club, has all the amenities. The site is situated on the flat valley floor, but is encircled by dramatic hills and mountains; it is perfectly located for a walking holiday.
Reraig Campsite Balmacara
Small established family run caravan site. 4 miles from Skye Bridge and ideal base for exploring Torridon, Applecross and Glenelg. Close to shop & post office. NO TENTS as of 2008 and is not suitable for motor homes longer than 7.5 m / 25 ft.
