All rooms are en-suite, with DVD players (we have a large selection of DVDs to chose from), and hospitality tray. Garve is a great base from which to tour the Highlands with both the very beautiful west and east coasts just a short drive away, and Birch Cottage is on the A835 Inverness to Ullapool road.

Ray and Linda have been at Birch Cottage now for 6 years, and enjoy meeting and welcoming guests. Breakfasts and evening meals a speciality. Birch Cottage is fantastically located to visit Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Culloden, Fort George, the Black Isle, Ullapool, Applecross and Skye.

We have 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double en-suite. The Guest Lounge downstairs has a welcoming fireplace with an antique solid fuel stove . It has a television and doubles as our breakfast room. It is a pleasant place to sit and relax after a hard days walking. There is provision to dry wet boots and clothes. Cycles can be stored down in our secure shed.
