Spend some time exploring the Black Isle and enjoy a boat trip to view the dolphins. Inverness city is just 15 minutes drive away, with Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal nearby and also six golf courses within 30 minutes drive.
The cosy cottage has a lovely lounge with open fire, modern kitchen, separate dining room, double bedroom and bathroom. Outside there private parking and a sitting out area to relax in. The perfect holiday retreat.
Garve Cottages Garve
Nestled under the watchful eye of Little Wyvis Garve cottages are situated in the quiet and peaceful rural community of Garve and lie just beyond a loch of the same name. Set amidst moorland and rugged mountains Garve stands at the gateway to the Ross-Shire Highlands.
The Bothy sleeps 3 whilst the Old Shop sleeps 6. Both are completely self contained with their own entrance, adjoining our own home Rosemount cottage. We are therefore on hand should you have any queries whatsoever, but at the same time the cottage offers peaceful and private accommodation.

Red Kite Cottage near Munlochy, Black Isle
This recently constructed Scandinavian redwood pine log cabin is situated close to Munlochy on the Black Isle, just 6 miles north of Inverness. An ideal base for exploring the Scottish Highlands and visiting local attractions such as Culloden Battlefield, the Black Isle Wild-life Park and the famous Black Isle Brewery. It is also within easy reach of award winning beaches in Wester Ross and Sutherland and spectacular mountains in Torridon, the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve and the Cairngorms.
The Cabin is named Red Kite due the frequent sightings of these birds of prey. Whether you are hill-walking on the many local routes or taking a leisurely stroll along the beach at Rosemarkie there is plenty to see.

Urquhart Mill Lodge Black Isle
Our stunning house in The Black Isle, Easter Ross is ready for guests to enjoy at any time of the year for an unforgettable holiday. The property is very much a home from home and has everything you will need for a special break. It is looked after by the owner and is a wonderful base to enjoy the area and the surroundings. Built on the edge of a wood in private farm land the only neighbours are the birds and the wild life. You can enjoy hill walking, skiing in Aviemore in the winter and watching the dolphins at Fortrose all year round. Only 12 mins from the highland capital of Inverness if you need a shopping fix! Very close to Ben Wyvis if you prefer climbing Munros. House sleeps 6 plus a wooden cot and high chair for little guests.
Doric House Rosemarkie
Doric House with its imposing sandstone pillars is situated in the centre of the ancient seaside hamlet of Rosemarkie with it’s Pictish roots and ancient carved stones now displayed at the Groam House Museum in the High street. The hamlet nestles below red sand stone cliffs and rolling hills which lead to a beautiful sandy beach, where salmon are regularly netted. The south beach extends to a peninsula and lighthouse known as Chanonry Point, famous for bottle nose dolphins
The house itself, believed to date from the 1700,s has evolved from a former Victorian Post Office and shop, through a recent refurbishment and now offers spacious living accommodation, full of character.

Margaret Street Cottage Avoch
Situated in the village of Avoch, on the Black Isle, on the shores of the inner Moray Firth, this traditional fisherman's cottage retains much of its late 19th century character and is fully modernised to a high standard.
Located in a quiet street off the road to Fortrose, Rosemarkie and Cromarty, the cottage is in the old fishers part of the village on the shore of the Beauly Firth, close to the Cromarty and Moray Firths, acknowledged as one of the best places in Europe for spotting Bottlenose dolphins.

There are many pleasant walks locally including Ben Wyvis.
