The Rest is a dog-friendly bed and breakfast situated right by the beach in the wildlife haven of Spey Bay. The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society visitor centre is at the end of the road. The world famous Spey Bay golf links, with newly refurbished club house, is at the other end. The mouth of the river spey is an RSPB protection site and is a great spot for watching dolphins, seals, otters and ospreys. For walkers we are situated on the Speyside Way, just 6 miles from the end of the walk at Buckie. We are near to the Whisky trail and in the heart of salmon fishing country. If all this activity is too much you might like to spend your evenings on the beach outside the back garden.
