Beinn Dorain is one of the more familiar landmark hills of the Highlands, a graceful, steep grassy pyramid revealed on the drive north from Tyndrum. Outside hillwalking circles it is known for having been celebrated by the great Gaelic poet, Duncan Ban MacIntyre.
