The cottage is close to the pretty bays of Fiskavaig, Talisker and Glenbrittle which provide numerous routes into the Black Cuillin Mountains. However, there are plenty of coastal walks for a less strenuous walk.

Sligachan Lodge & Cottages
Three properties all dramatically situated at Sligachan, at the very foot of the Cuillin mountains. The famous mountaineering hotel is within easy walking distance across the old bridge.
Sligachan Lodge sleeps 14 people and has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Marsco and Glamaig cottages each sleep 8, with double and twin bedrooms downstairs and two further twin rooms upstairs accessible by ladder.

Fernilea Carbost
Fernilea Cottage is a recently renovated, cosy cottage situated on the shores of Loch Harport on the west coast of Skye. Its central location makes it an excellent base for touring giving easy access to the Cuillin Mountain range from either Sligachan (10min drive), or Glenbrittle (20min drive).
The cottage is situated on an elevated site offering impressive uninterrupted views along Loch Harport to the Cuillins in the east. The accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, large lounge, 1 king, 1 double and 1 single bedroom, and bathroom with power shower. The gardens are south facing with garden furniture and BBQ.

Skye Self Catering Cottage Fiskavaig
Traditional croft cottage self catering sleeping four. Situated in the village of Fiscavaig, the cottage is less than five minutes walk to beautiful Fiscavaig beach. Fiscavaig is an ideal base for touring the Isle of Skye and is ten minutes drive to the foot of the Cuillins and therefore makes a great base for walkers and climbers. The cottage has a lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower, a double and a twin bedroom. There are four mountain bikes for your use and a large selection of books and maps.

Calath is a stunning self-catering house in a spectacular location. Designed by award-winning architects Dualchas, it enjoys some of the best views from any property on Skye.
The house has three large double bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people comfortably. There is a large open plan dining/lounge area where the views to the loch and of the whole of the Cuillin ridge must be seen to be believed. The house is in a quiet location overlooking the village and loch. It gets the sun from sunrise to late in the evening. There is ample parking space for up to four cars.

The cottages nestle in the foothills of the world renowned Cuillin Hill Mountain range. These "hills" (as they are known to the locals) are a range of majestic mountains which attract climbers and walkers from all over the world.

Davaar Cottage Carbost
Davaar cottage is situated in the crofting township of Carbost on the west coast of the Isle of Skye, eighteen miles from Portree, the main town on the island. It is in a quiet setting with excellent views of Loch Harport and the Cuillin hills, making it the ideal base for climbers and walkers, or for discovering the island's rich and historic past.
Within walking distance of the cottage there is a small grocery shop, post office and doctors' surgery as well as the Old Inn, a traditional pub serving light meals and snacks. Also in the village is Talsker Distillery, the one single malt distillery on Skye, with regular tours and tastings.
