Taigh Alasdair is a traditional stone-built croft house in the crofting township of Peinchorran, Braes which is 9 miles from Portree. It sits in its own private garden with off-road parking. There are stunning views of Raasay, Glamaig and the Cuillins. The house has an L-shaped sitting room and kitchen. There is a wood burning stove and a TV with satellite reception. There is one bedroom with a king sized bed. There is a double sized sofa bed in the sitting room and a bathroom off the porch.

The cottage overlooks the bay with uninterrupted views to Ben Tianavaig and the Island of Raasay. Portree itself is just over half an hour`s drive from the Isle of Skye Bridge (free) and is well positioned for easy access to the northern peninsulas. Allocated parking is opposite your front door and there is a private garden above the cottage to the rear.

1/2 of 6 Gedintailor is a 90-year-old traditional croft house that has been carefully renovated to provide every modern comfort, while retaining its original character and charm. Situated on the east coast of Skye, eight miles south of Portree, there are stunning views over the Narrows of Raasay and towards the Isle of Raasay. It stands in a three-acre field - with a working croft behind it - and also has a garden enclosed by a dry stone wall to the front of the house, which provides a lovely sheltered spot for barbeques and for sitting out. There is a swing, trees to climb and the popular sandy beach at Braes is a short walk away. Inside there are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Downstairs there is an open fire in the sitting room and a wood burning stove in the kitchen / dining room.
