This area is renowned for its spectacular scenery of rolling hills, rugged coastline and dramatic rock formations and there are excellent uninterrupted views from all rooms. This is a popular area for hill-walking and the view to the rear of the house is of the Trotternish Ridge.

The cottage dates back to 1920 and has been completely renovated in recent years but still retains its character. Heating is night storage heating on ground level which is included in the tariff. Very comfortable and cosy lounge, featuring the original cast iron fire place with electric coal effect stove fire. Very well equipped kitchen with all mod-cons. Garden area with lovely views and garden furniture. A fantastic base to tour the island and explore the dramatic landscape of the Trotternish area.

The bungalow sits at nearly 400 feet above sea level, making views of the ocean and mountains breathtaking. Some guests say that the view from the lounge window is like an ever changing picture.

Whales can be seen on clear calm days and there are regulare boat cruises from Staffin just 5 minutes drive. Most facilities are located in Staffin and Portree ( Skyes capital ) is only 20 minutes drive south.

Situated on a fifteen acre working croft on the north end of Skye, 6 Totescore is a comfortable and attractive mix of the traditional and the modern. The house dates back to around 1870 and was the original family home. It was completely renovated and extended around 1997 and has all the comforts you would expect from a modern property while still maintaining the character of a traditional croft house.

The ground floor of the house has an open plan living area. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms: one double room a twin bedded room and a single room.

Ideally located for exploring the Trotternish Peninsula and its famous geological sights, such as the Quirang, Kilt Rock and the Old Man of Storr. Formerly a Church of Scotland manse, Tigh Cilmartin was designed by Thomas Telford and built in 1828. The house is a category ‘B’ listed building and has maintained many of its original features, including sash and casement windows, working shutters, wood paneled walls and open fireplaces. Dry stone walls surround the house, which stands on the banks of the River Kilmartin and benefits from spectacular views of the Quiraing Pinnacles and Staffin Bay

Once the ancestral home of the Clan MacDonald, this historic detached property enjoys wonderful open views across open countryside. Built in the early 1730s, it was here in 1746 that Bonnie Prince Charlie sailed over from Uist with Flora MacDonald, disguised as her maid and landed on the shores at Monkstadt, where he hid from the red coats who were at Monkstadt House. The property has been fully and sympathetically renovated and now provides spacious accommodation.
