Historical base. Monkstadt became the seat of the Clan Macdonald in 1730 when they abandoned Duntulm Castle. Braidholm is a two-bedroom cottage on Portree harbour front, with a large living/dining room with a wood-burner and a well-equipped kitchen. The living room and both bedrooms have great views over the harbour. The double bedroom is en-suite with walk-in shower and six foot bath; the twin bedroom has its own bathroom with walk-in shower. This is very much a second home rather than a rental property so guests are required to take their own bed-linen, towels etc and to clean up when they leave: our rates reflect this.
