Hugh Evans

Hugh Evans

Hugh Evans is a mountaineering instructor with over 20 years guiding and instructing experience. He has climbed extensively in Britain and abroad. His company Skye Mountain Guides offer private guiding and climbing instruction for individuals and groups throughout the year on the Isle of Skye and in Scotland. With a guide you have someone who is experienced and has local knowledge of the Cuillin and who can guide you safely on the mountains. With a guide, there is no need for you to worry about the difficult route finding, which is typical of Skye, or technical problems. With a guide, you can be sure of a safe day on the hills.

Pat Rudram

Pat Rudram

My name is Pat Rudram and I have been living on the Isle of Skye with my wife Julia and young son Eden for the past 8 years. I am available to guide you on your walking holiday or break on the beautiful Isle of Skye. I am a member of the Skye Mountain Rescue Team and also train my Search and Rescue Dog, Coruisk with SARDA Scotland. Although I will guide on certain Munroes on the Black Cuillin, I specialise on the lower level and walking routes so often ignored by hill folk when visiting Skye. I will guide both individuals and parties both on high and low ground.
