A warm welcome awaits you at our cosy ‘home away from home’, nestled on the harbourside in the idyllic village of Kyleakin, just over the Bridge on the Isle of Skye. The White Heather is a small, non smoking, family run hotel, with just 9 immaculately presented, ensuite bedrooms, enabling us to provide that personal touch often missing in larger hotels. There are 2 Guest lounges, with large TV, BOSE Wave CD/Radio, Games & Books. We provide a small Guest Kitchenette for use by all our guests - fridge, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, sink and cutlery & crockery. In addition we have a Guest Study, with an iMac, more books and some magazines. Guests can connect to our free Wi-Fi using their own laptops or the iMac in the Guest Study.

Set amid lime and birch trees, Kinloch Lodge is blessed with a wildly romantic and beautiful setting. A haven of tranquility at the water’s edge, it was built in the early 1600s and was originally one of the shooting lodges on the once enormous Macdonald estates.
