Rubh an Eireannaich, Broadford Pronunciation and Meaning

A picturesque walk with an easy start leading to pebbly beaches with good views over Broadford. The whole circuit is more strenuous with good opportunities for spotting wildlife and flowers.

Terrain

Straightforward walk to Irishman's Point, the coast beyond is more rugged. The easiest going is on the rocky shoreline but detours inland are necessary onto overgrown (in summer) paths except at low tide.

Public Transport

Regular buses from Portree, Kyleakin and Kyle of Lochalsh - get off in centre of Broadford.
