Sit beside a real logfire in our cosy dining room and enjoy a wide breakfast choice of Kippers, smoked Salmon or a first class Full Scottish. Wonderful walks in the area, loch, river and sea fishing, great wildlife watching opportunities, cycling and mountain biking as well as fantastic scenery for artists and photographers.

Formerly, the locally primary school from 1879 to 1970, it is situated in Inshegra, near Kinlochbervie, on the North West Sutherland coast, said to be one of the last great wilderness in Europe. It offers stunning views over Loch Inchard and out to the Atlantic.

Durness lies on the north coast in the wild, remote and beautiful expanse of Cape Wrath. It is the most north westerly inhabited locality of mainland Britain.
