Castle cottage is set in the beautiful village of Lochcarron in the highlands of Ross Shire it is an ideal base for those wishing to tour the surrounding area. Also ideal for hillwalkers as Torridon,Ben Eighe,Applecross and Coulin are on our doorstep, , and locally we have pottery and craft shops, bank, general store, petrol stations/garages, butchers shop, post office and cafes /restaurants. Wonderful day trips to the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Inverewe Gardens. And the not to be missed breathtaking drive to Applecross, over the Bealach Na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) which is the highest road in Britain. And Inverness the Capital City of the Highlands is just over 1 hour drive away.
