Welcome to Druimdarroch, a delightful house available for rent in Wester Ross - one of the few remaining truly remote areas in the UK. Located between the villages of Gairloch and Badachro, the house overlooks the sea and has direct access to the sea shore. There are fabulous views of both loch and mountains from all the main rooms and bedrooms of the house. It is surrounded by 2 acres of land and you can watch numerous species of birds feed in the trees right outside the sitting room windows. |

It is a great base for exploring the sandy beaches, coasts and hills - the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, Slioch, and An Teallach are close by. In nearby Poolewe and Gairloch there are walks, fishing, boat trips, golf, pony trekking, swimming pool, the Inverewe Gardens,Gairloch Heritage Museum and shops and galleries. There is a large, well equipped kitchen/dining room, lounge with T.V.video, hi fi, books and games, bathroom (shower over bath), 1 double room and 2 twin rooms. Heating is electric (included), in addition there is a peat burning stove in the lounge. Outside there is parking for several cars, plenty of space to relax in the garden and field with direct access to the shore. |

The little village of South Erradale is in a very picturesque seaside location south west of Gairloch on the single track road which ends at Red Point Beach. Glendale House is a STB 3 star self catering complex comprising of 4 self contained apartments in this small quiet village, with very scenic surroundings close to some beautiful beaches, and just 200 yards from the rocky seashore. There is an undercover heated swimming pool (May – Oct) and the friendly welcoming bar situated in the main building is the ‘local’ for the village and offers a great place to unwind after the day’s activities. The apartments are comfortable and welcoming and sleep between 2 and 8. |
Dry Island has a quite unique situation amid the superb scenery of Badachro Bay on Scotland’s magnificent West Coast, accessible at all times by by a substantial floating bridge.
