did the arete last year and its the best route and away from the crowded side of the ben im 50 now so you go fo it matey

myself and my freind ivan have been at the base of the inpin twice the first time we were defeated by the weather and the second had a long wait till we finally did it it was an exhilarating experience and recomend it but be very aware of the exposure..

"They will learn eventually when they come a cropper on the hills says caberfeidh", im a great believer that each to his/her own! experience is to be gained and the only way to gain such is to get out there but as you politely said to the inexperienced couple to go and do some gentle walks...

did ben lui quiet a few years back with my pal ivan, was in summer and a fantastic mountain it is! we did a "brucie on the summit", let all of those munroists out there do there thing nice pics
