If it fits buy the Flux you wont be disappointed ive got 2 now and always in my rucsac for winter walks they even perform when very wet

Its an easy pathless walk from the top of the devils staircase to Am Bodach on the AE Ridge and some surprisingly awesome views of other Glencoe hills from there. btw wouldnt fancy the walk back so make sure you have a car at the Clachaig

There are 2 campsites at Castlerigg - the farm on the left of the road and the hall ? on right hand side. both are excellent sites and can recommend both but prefer the Farm site. nb Farm site has a gate which is locked overnight

IMO they arent all round boots and looking at the tread they wouldnt last me very long at all

Scarpa list them as scrambling / via ferrata boots

Have you considered using Viewranger on your mobile phone ? I use it on my iphone ( available on android as well ) and the cost is a fraction of a gps and it does more or less exactly what my friends satmap does without carrying both devices and if you worried about battery life you can switch your ...

If your looking for a tent purely for wild camping can I suggest the wild country zephyros tents which are slightly over £100 if you shop around but are top quality lightweight tents.
