Re: Aonach Beag & Mòr from Glen Nevis - Steep/Loose Descent

I assume the descent referred to, between Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag, is the Seang Aonach Mor which descends West to the head of Coire Giubhsachan. I have never descended it, and don’t think I ever would, however, I have ascended it a couple of times including in Winter. I would agree that the easie...

Re: How the 9 year old Cheyenne climbed Ben Nevis in a hot d

Yet another superb video and what a fantastic day for The Ben. Great effort by Cheyenne and I hope there was no short changing going on and she was payed the full Equity rate for her starring part. Well done.

There and back - and failed

Looking at the Explorer 394 map one day I was looking for somewhere where I thought I could get fantastic, to me anyway, photos of the Gaick Forest area. I decided that the best place would be Sron Bhuirich (848m) at grid NN 764824 where I would be able to look directly North up Loch an t-Seilich, h...

Meall na Leitreach more discoveries

I was last here on the 15th April ( Meall na Leitreach and Meall Breac ) and made some interesting discoveries due to heading East from the summit of Meall na Leitreach and making my way over to Meall Breac. No 1 was the new shooting lodge near the foot of Coire Leathanaidh with only the very apex o...

Re: Aonach Eagach Ridge + Ridge Wild Camp

Yet another fantastic video. Having done both I find it is very difficult to compare the Aonach Eagach and Curved Ridge as one is basically in the horizontal and one vertical. Overall I personally found the Aonach Eagach more difficult. Well done

Re: A bike any use for Beinn Mholach?

Walked down West side of Loch Garry the other week and where it shows the double line track on the map ending I went up onto Meall Doire 715m to walk back over the hills to Dalnaspidal. Weather wasn’t very good but took a couple of photos which may help. $matches[2] 74A86E91-8FE3-4CE7-9C16-F3657351B...

Re: Scottish Cup Final

Sorry Summit Views, it may be Mickey Mouse stuff to you but for a provincial club like Saints to win both cup competitions in the space of a couple of months is pretty damn special.

Toe Nail Trouble

Hi all, I’ve been desperately needing to have my large toe nail removed for some time - had a heavy weight dropped on it many years ago. The nail is now about three times as thick as normal and partly ingrown. As it is I’ve soldiered on but doing shorter walks. Can anyone give me advice on the recov...

Re: Beinn a'Chrulaiste via Pink Rib

Great video. Had read about the Pink Rib in a scrambling book but never seen anything written about it anywhere else - now I know what it’s like. Once again great camera work and great views over the Glen. 👍

Great pictures and I just love your wee lizard friend - never seen one in the wild before. Thanks for that.

Loch Garry and the Mealls

I wasn’t sure whether to go walking or not on this Saturday as I’d suffered from stomach cramps on the Friday evening and was still suffering the following morning. However, my gear was packed so it was into the car and off up the road to Dalnaspidal. When I opened the car door at Dalnaspidal it was...

Re: Zena goes solo on Mount Battock (eagle sighting too!)

It makes me jealous when I see you with your dogs. My last one ( Sheba ) did about 150 Munro’s and just over 100 Corbets. I know it shouldn’t matter but I do wish I could find myself a new collie companion.
