This was a great wee day out with the Mrs the initial climb up to Carn Aosda was pretty steep but then it levelled out for most of the the other 2 in this route Lucia hadn’t been up any other Munro’s other than Ben Nevis and that had been a while ago so it was a good wee hike and also you very easil...

Ben and should be called Ben steep

What a climb for her to be just big enough to be a Munro she packs a punch as it’s steep and boggy from the time that you turn off of the road and onto the mountain itself. To start with you walk along a path next to the main road after parking at the Ineruglas visitor centre. You then turn away fro...

Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ime with no sleep

After a sleepless night we started our ascent which practically all of the way up Beinn Narnain was steep and with some scrambling thrown in made it an amazing challenge  But after taking it easy and some good old determination we made it up to summit and to begin with couldn’t see much as th...

Ben Ledi awesome views but forgot my boots lol

We got to the place to park the car and as I went to put my boots on this was the moment I realised that I had actually left my boots in my kitchen  so wearing only a pair of Nikes I still decided to carry on regardless with it being a lovely day and the weather report being good for the whol...

Grey and windy Ben Lomond

The weather was great at the start lol. The first stage to the first gate was not very challenging although was through the gate the real climb began and it was pretty tough going through the next 2 gates although there was some rest bite when the ground levels off for a bit although it’s short live...

Nice wee walk with my 5 year old

Great wee walk with my daughter although it was getting quite busy and a tight squeeze on the way back down. It's great though if you have kids as they love adventuring through the split in the rocks. Also it was a clear day and it provided us with great views over to Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond took...

The awesome Meikle Bin

Great walk on a Sunday morning with the dog although the walk through the forest track you only catch a glimpse of the mountain a few times. Once on the mountain the climb to the summit is steep but the views surrounding the while climbimbing the slope makes a good excuse to stop and have a look aro...

extremely boggy cort-ma-law

After an initial steep climb with amazing views is flattens out a bit but then you enter the bog stage of the walk which is extremely difficult to navigate and it takes up most of the time on the hills. At one point I was even up to my knees in the bog you really need a pair of fishing waders to fin...
