ok guys, i'm back! had a lot going on this year so far, but i'm finally free to start my walking again :clap:

heading for these hills again tomorrow... with boots! forecast isn't the greatest, but im not letting a bit of wind and rain put me off... new report to come during the week 8)

hahaha, thank you BBC weather!! i found out the correct forecast as i passed the hydro dam... think the words windswept and drookit don't do it any justice!! :lol: low cloud base meant almost zero visibility at the peak of Ben Vorlich, also meant there was no way i was venturing over to Stuc a 'Chro...

hey folks, looking for a wee bit of advice... looking to take in Ben Vorlich and Stuc a 'Chroin tomorrow, now i understand that the climb on Stuc a 'Chroin is a bit tricky at the best of times, anyone any idea what the conditions are like just now? weather forecast for tomorrow seems to be decent, b...

it's sickening knowing that my boots would have gave me better grip in the snow and i could have made that final scramble... and it didn't help my mood every time i turned my head and saw the peak laughing at me!! :lol: think it's the first sensible decision i've ever made though, rather be here to ...

set off from dundee at 4am yesterday morning, got to the car park at glen muick at 6am, quick bite to eat then time to get ready... problem number one... i forgot to pick up my boots!!!! :o decided that it would take too long to go back for them so set off in trainers at 7am!! the walk in was nice a...

hey porty! i was hoping to catch up with you, at least see you descend driesh as i was struggling up... guess i really was slow!! :lol: good to hear you bagged these both as well, and hopefully i'll see you on another climb in the future :D (p.s... the shot at the waterfall was the only good picture...

the 'hunt hill' i was talking about is just south of little driesh... how many hills have the same name? :lol:

and the hunt hill at glen doll is bigger than the hunt hill in the list :? :lol:
