Need to take more notice of the route!

Starting in Patterdale I walked up to Boredale Hause then up to Place Fell. Here's where it all went a bit wrong and I completely lost my bearings. One of the best walks I've done in a long time. Parked at Buttermere then walked round the lake which was clear as glass giving lovely reflections of the surrounding hills. Second day of sunshine in the Lakes

Another glorious sunny day. Parked in Seathwaite and went up Green Gable then across to Great Gable. The section from Green to Great was particularly hard work. Bit lucky with the weather

Glorious sunny day in the Lake District. Started in Ambleside went over Wansfell to Troutbeck for a delicious Thunder and Lightening ice cream. Back through Skelghyll Wood.

Camping in the Lakes

Glorious sunny day. Picked the wrong track going up but soon corrected to ascend Sharp Edge. Came down Halls Fell Ridge which would also make a great ascent.
