Re: Grey Wagtail

If I was naming that bird, I really don't think its greyness would be the thing that jumped out at me...

Re: Racing Red

I had a dream about red squirrels last night - I'd forgotten that until I saw your picture.

That one seems to think it's a flying squirrel!

Re: Second Blair question.

Google streetview actually goes right up the drive, so you can see the payment booth much further in, almost at the castle itself. The only problem I had was getting away from the car park at all - I think I kept ending up back on the road by the lodge, instead of on the track going the other way. B...

Re: Second Blair question.

I've only gone straight on to come out by the station - I don't remember any issues with that bit, although I wasn't necessarily thinking like a horse...

Re: Blair parking

The train timetable from both Blair Atholl and Dalwhinnie has always been baffling and is now worse, but I don't think you can blame Scotrail for the hill at Killiecrankie!

The lesser-spotted whiskered sparrow

It refused to stay looking straight at me for a better picture, but it was quite funny to see!

Re: Spotty thrush

So do I, tentatively, but I'm often wrong :)

I probably meant 'lined up'. I got up at 3am to go and watch the sun rise, is my excuse.

Spotty thrush

Three thrushes this morning, but only a picture of one. Sort of pale, and its spots are only sort of joined up...

Re: Update Munros

You can update hills individually by going to their page and ticking where it says 'You haven't climbed X yet.'

(But changing region is working ok for me...)

Re: New Covid law 26/4/2021

The legislation (as presented in single pages) could certainly be clearer - we've all got used to thinking of 'an area' as our local area. It does make a bit more sense once you realise that there are rules for every level, even where those levels don't currently exist. (What does seem to be missing...

Re: New Covid law 26/4/2021

It seems to depend on whether you read 'a level 3 area' as 'that area which is at level 3' (i.e. all of Scotland?), or 'a local authority area at level 3'. Presumably that's defined somewhere...

Re: Draft Report -where?

For ages I could only find drafts by starting another new report, and then choosing 'Open draft' from the same place where I'd found 'Save draft' originally.

That does work, but so does choosing 'Account Settings' from the top left hand menu, and then 'Manage Drafts'

Re: Multiple Bagging Maps

It's all or nothing - if you haven't found it already, 'All Hills' is the last option from the menu at top left.

Otherwise hill-bagging.co.uk lets you search on any combination you could possibly want.
