We can send men to the moon but we cant stop midges biting us, have you ever tried vaseline kev, it seems to me as tho that could work, but i dont know if i would like the feeling of being covered in vaseline. im climbing ben achaladair and ben a,creachian on sunday so really need to get something. ...

i have tried both wardy and they still munch away at me, i think i might try covering myself in some kind of sugar solution on me, if it doesnt kill them at least it will rot there teeth

haha, very good but when it comes to taking in a munro or two the following day, the hangover just makes it that wee bit harder...... but ten out of ten for originality

had a look at that report doogz, What an acheivement, especially for someone with little experiance on the hills. Noted that they didnt carry all there water to begin with, they refilled at the lochan at the foot of am bodach. is it ok to do this on hills does ne1 know?? Anyway ill get the ten mamor...

hi d, You could head out to arrochar and climb the arrochar alps, you have a choice of 3 hills, ben ime, ben narnain and the cobbler. although the cobbler isnt a munro its a cracker and if you feel fit enough you could add it on after doing one of the munroes. this is perfectly doable. when we climb...

hey monty ,

I think your spot on with that one, theres no better training for a sport, other than to do the sport itself. Also i think we may have been getting ahead of ourselfs a little, haha.
