Two lairigs - five stars

We were inspired to do this walk from the summits of Buchaille Etive Beag. It was yet another hot clear day, wonderful views along the lairigs. Very imposing walls of rock each side, an easy path, it made you feel very small (in a good way!). A surprising amount of climbing but you didn’t really not...

Scorching Buachaille Etive Beag

Fantastic. What a way to spend one of the hottest days of the year. We set off early and climbed most of the way to the saddle in shadow, then were hit by brilliant sunshine and a fabulous inversion. Pleasant short walk

A pleasant short forest walk up the glen. Some forestry (?) work going on at the start, would be pretty muddy after rain but they don’t last long.

The left turn is in fact just after the second concrete bridge.

Easy paths and gentle climbing. Good view from the bothy up the Glen.
