Re-waterproofing boots

My 4 year old Meindl Bhutans are taking water in like a sieve . No holes or tears in the leather uppers as well which would cause this. I have always been pro active in cleaning them and applying a waterproofing cream after every trip as well . Can anyone please suggest anything to rectify the probl...

Re: Bad weather on Bidean nam Bian

Hi fourpads
Some nice footage in there . Reminds me of my many trips to Bidean over the years. I always did it clockwise going up the Lost Valley first which helped on the Bidean descent. Cracking walking companion you have there as well. Cheers .

That was partly to take advantage of the remarkably-settled weather at the time, and also because I was walking the Tops as well as the Munros. That meant visiting an extra handful of...

Re: South Mullardoch 8

A couple of links below but might not be of much help - may be just as well walking the 12 in a loop as the north 4 don't add any more than a day normally - cheers :) https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1947 https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=823...

South Mullardoch 8

Hi everyone First post on a great site  Im looking at the 8 Munros South of Loch Mullardoch accessed from Glen Affric. I know the 8 can be tied into the Mullardoch 12 round but has anyone done them as the 8 ? Looking at the map there looks to be a bit of doubling back which is unavoidable but ...
