Re: The penultimate one, Slioch.

Thanks :D I caught up with a walker in front, who also uses Walkhighlands and walked with him to the summit. ......, so i left Mark and made my way down Meall Each, wondered if Mark goes by the ...

Re: Een Peen day
Did the In Pinn and Mhic Chonnich with Jonah last week...a top bloke and excellent guide!
The Pinn is not nearly as difficult as is made out...as long as you're roped up!
Some good pics with folks on the Pinn and at the bottom, gives some sense of perspective.
Cheers

Re: Some more Achnashellach hills
Hi RH, Well met again! :D I've taken a look back as I barely post so it was easy to see that it was on the Sgurr Na Ciche trio that I was doing when you were putting in your epic shift that we met going in opposite directions. Back to Lurg Mhor and it's cakey neighbour.....tough going in with the bi...

Found - Achnashellach Car Park - OS Maps and Case - Sun 13th
Hi,
Someone dropped their map case (including maps) when they were leaving after having completed their walking for the day. It would've been around 4pm ish...I only noticed when I myself was packing to leave.
Anyway if they're yours get in touch.

Re: Gairich to Sgurr na Ciche from Loch Arkaig
On up to Garbh Chioch Mhor. Met another walker from WH site who told me that Andy Murray had won the first set. That would have been me! :D Hello again! Albeit my walk was considerably shorter it was still tough having to push my bike for so much of the route....I estimate around 6 - 8 km. A...

Re: Sgurr Mor and Glen Kingie
Hi, Firstly well met Westcountryboy, you and a few pals were ascending Aonach Meadhoin from the Cluanie Inn for an overnighter and I was just heading off the Brother's ridge....then we got talking about Sgurr Mor and I said I had followed some nutter's suggested cycle ride....which turned out to be ...

Re: Half way! Sgurr Thuilm & Sgurr nan Coireachan (Glenfinna
Hi Valerie, Bod and Gavin! I did say I'd post!
An enjoyable day and a pleasure meeting up with y'all.
For anyone considering the use of the bike it's well worth it, took me around 25 mins in and even less on the way out
A lot easier than the 'road' into Guilvain!
Cheers

Fastened to the handle of my Tiki in Loch Arkaig 23/05/12
A ladies watch....note with it says it was found up at the bridge between Sgurr a'Mhaoraich and Gleouraich and for some reason they thought it might've belonged to me, or more precisely the occupants of a Kontiki.
