you could try megabus glasgow to inverness then hitch from there can sometimes get a single ticket for around 7 quid . :wink:

could also use rowchoish or doune byre bothy along the way . plenty of wild camping spots on the way . kingshouse hotel and inveroran hotel have good wild camp spots nearby.

camped out at the bottom of this as well climbed up to ghordaidh .. we carried on .coming of at the other end in glen lochay. walked to kenknock . then up the hill to pubil . then back to the car, .was a long day tho .

was in the bothy on the 14th jan . the door is still not fixed . carried in a bag of coal took me just under 3 hours due to the heavy snow . a lot quicker on the way out as a tractor had been along the path the next day day and having burned all the coal . note in the bothy says door is getting fixe...

beinn mhanach

headed up to do mhanach at 7 oclock me n alan and paul .thought this would be a good time to do this as the rivers have been shallow . not much water about when i was up blair atholl last week . arrived at auch farm at 9 oclock and headed off on the path . left the car at the verge on the main road....

hi scottishleaf. me n john really enjoyed your company on the way up . it really was a hot day .went round with the yorkshireman .got well sunburnt on the way round . hopefully see you out on the hills another time .

Cheers monty was quite boggy along fenceline most of the way up . Was on ben chabair last week which was one massive bog right up to the small lochan . :o
